Abstract描述了使高功率扩散冷却CO_2激光器结构紧凑的激励方式和光腔结构。用扩散冷却辐射状电极列阵构成多通道板条放电。由共用射频电源经过射频共振腔功率分配系统独立地激发每个增益通道。用多通道自注式相位锁定增大径向激发、稳定光功率提取和保持高效经。组件式结构可以方便地定标放大到非常高的功率,同时保持体积小、价格低。

Other AbstractAn excitation model and optical cavity construction suitable for compact high power diffusion cooled CO_2 lasers is described. Multiple slab discharges are established in a diffusion cooled radial electrode array. Each gain channel is independently driven from common RF source via a resonant cavity power distribution system. Radial excitation expanded with multichannel self-injection phase locking provides stable optical power extraction at good efficiency. The package construction is easily scalable to very high powers while dramatically reducing unit size and cost.
